Over the past ten years, thanks to clients such as Shoot My Food and HelloFresh, we can safely say that the translators, proofreaders and subtitlers at Het Vertaalcollectief have become absolute foodies. In addition, the collaboration with Dutch tech giant WeTransfer also turned us into real whizzkids. All this experience came in handy when the restaurant app Formitable came to us for translations.

Our translators are tasked with conveying the user-friendliness and accessibility of the app in text, as well as using fluent language to promote the Formitable system. We are helping Formitable to conquer Europe by translating Instagram posts and subtitling videos into various languages. We often translate from English to Danish and Swedish for this client. In doing so, we work with permanent translators who are well versed in the tone-of-voice of the company. Whether it’s a Michelin-starred restaurant or a takeaway, thanks to Formitable’s app, restaurants no longer have to fiddle around with all kinds of technology, and can focus on what they do best: ensuring their guests have a wonderful evening.
